Company Foundation
Themar was established to capitalize on the potential of Egypt’s emerging capital market and secure a strong position in the unified capital market.
Founded in October 1995 as an Egyptian joint-stock company, under Laws No. 230 of 1989 and No. 95 of 1992, the company has continued to expand its market presence.
Themar was granted License No. 144 of 1996, authorizing the company to conduct brokerage activities in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 95 of 1992 and its executive regulations. Furthermore, the company has been registered with the stock exchange as an entity licensed to execute securities transactions.

Following approval from the Capital Market Authority, Themar opened the following branches:
- Tanta – June 2001
- Misr El Gedida, El Merghany – April 2004
- Mansoura – October 2004
- Minya – October 2004
- Helwan- September 2005
- Maadi – November 2006
- Zagazig – November 2007
- Alexandria – March 2009
- 6th of October City – March 2009
Company Capital
EAC’s issued and paid-up capital is EGP 80 million, with an approved increase to EGP 100 million.
In 2006, Themar acquired a 22.6% stake in El Safwa Brokerage to expand into Arab markets. It also acquired a 30% stake in Libyan Solidarity Brokerage and signed an agreement to manage the company.

حصلت الشركة عام 2007 على ترخيص التداول الإلكتروني، بما يتيح للعملاء تنفيذ عمليات البيع والشراء من أي مكان وفي أقل من 15 ثانية. كما يمكن متابعة الأسعار والعروض والطلبات لحظيًا، ومعرفة قيمة المحفظة، وإجراء السحب والإيداع من خلال الفروع، مع توفير الدعم الهاتفي والتنفيذ البديل عند الحاجة، والاطلاع على كشوف الحساب والفواتير .
